Solar Installation
Designed and installed in-house, sized to your actual usage and your utility’s current export rules — not to a sales target.
A residential solar installation in the Valley is a design, a permit, an install of typically one to two days, an inspection, and a utility interconnection approval before the system is allowed to turn on. The interconnection step is the one that sets your real timeline, and it is largely outside any installer’s control.
This work is performed under Arizona ROC #344757, CR-11 — Electrical — commercial & residential. Verify it.
How your utility changes the answer
APS and SRP treat exported solar differently from each other, and both have moved away from the retail-rate net metering that shaped how solar was sold in Arizona a decade ago.
What that means practically: the value of a system depends on your utility, your rate plan and your usage pattern — not on a national average. Any proposal that does not start with your actual bills and your actual rate plan is not a proposal, it is a template.
What we will not do
We do not run a commissioned sales team, we do not quote a system before we have seen twelve months of usage, and we do not put savings or payback figures in writing that we cannot substantiate.
If you have been given a proposal with a guaranteed savings number on it, bring it to us and we will walk through what is actually being promised and by whom.
Frequently asked
Does Arizona still have net metering?
Not in its original form. Arizona moved to an export-credit model, and the credit rate differs by utility and changes over time. Your utility and rate plan matter more to the outcome than the equipment does.
How long does the whole process take?
The physical install is short — often one to two days. Design, permitting, inspection and utility interconnection approval are what set the overall timeline, and interconnection is the least predictable part.
What about the federal tax credit?
The 30% federal residential solar credit ended on 31 December 2025 and was not extended or phased down. It is not available for a homeowner buying a system with cash or a loan in 2026. Treat any company still advertising it as a reason for urgency with real caution, and speak to your own tax advisor about what, if anything, applies to your situation.
