Jonathan grew up around the trades; his father spent over a decade in electrical and another in roofing. He started with SolarCity at 19, made foreman at 21, and relocated to Nevada as a project manager overseeing more than 60 installation crews — the youngest to hold that role there. After finishing at Tesla at 31 he moved into solar sales, and saw from the other side how homeowners were being sold to. He founded Blackout Electric in 2023 to do it differently: the people who quote the job are the people who do it, and nobody works on a commission plan that rewards a bigger system than the one you need.

Fabian brings over two decades of hands-on solar experience to operations, covering installation, operational leadership and team development. Before this role he spent six years as a branch manager overseeing multiple installation crews and several departments, where he focused on streamlining operations and getting projects completed safely, on schedule and to standard. He leads day-to-day operations with the same priorities.

Alexis has spent more than ten years in solar operations, permitting, interconnection and project management, and has an in-depth understanding of what keeps a project moving from initial planning through utility approval to final completion. She specialises in navigating complex permitting requirements and coordinating interconnection with utility providers, and has built long-standing relationships with customers, contractors and utility partners. She is the reason projects here do not stall waiting on paperwork.

Edwin has diagnosed and repaired thousands of residential solar systems, across a wide range of inverter, battery and monitoring platforms. He takes pride in solving problems and restoring systems to full performance — and in the part that comes after: taking the time to explain what went wrong, answer questions, and leave a homeowner actually understanding how their system works. On a system whose original installer no longer exists, that is most of the job.

Miguel leads many of Blackout Electric’s solar projects, guiding crews to consistent results with efficiency and precision. He brings hands-on experience from working across California, Texas and Arizona, which has given him a deep familiarity with different systems, codes and installation practices. After years on the road he returned to Arizona to be closer to his daughters, and is proudly a girl dad. Outside work he cooks, and is known on site for his seafood.
